Attached is a news release which pertains to a new program that will start in September 2010.  The idea behind the program is to take aviation, as a career, into a local Secondary School so that students in the school district become aware that there are many careers available in aviation.  While the Private Pilot licence is the primary focus of the course, there is an intention to expose the students to other career possibilities such as airport management, aviation electronics, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, and airport fire fighting.
