The panels will explore initiatives and trends that offer opportunities for BC’s aviation industry to spur economic growth.  Speakers from all sectors will address a wide range of topics including:

- The Asian connection and Approved Destination Status
- Our developing aerospace sector
- Airports – new routes and new opportunities
- Canada – US collaboration
- Tourism packaging and promotion
- The cruise ship connection
- the growing seaplane sector
- BC’s Pacific Rim location and favourable post-Olympic opportunities

The afternoon program on Thursday, November 4, will feature a series of sector-specific workshops, see Workshop Program for details

The conference program will be followed by the SILVER WINGS AWARDS BANQUET.  During this gala evening, the Council will continue its tradition of helping those entering our industry and of recognizing individuals and organizations that have made aviation such an important part of BC’s social and economic activity.
