ENDOWMENT FUND

The Council maintains an endowment fund and the interest from the fund is used to support our scholarship program for deserving students.

The Council’s charitable status enhances our ability to raise funds, through events such as the annual Silver Wings Awards. To date, over $270,000 is endowed, the interest from which sustains many of the awards over the long term.

DONATIONS

With current interest rates, the endowment income available for these important cash awards is constrained and the BCAC is actively seeking to supplement our endowment with additional donations.

Support the next generation of aviation leaders by making a donation to the BCAC Scholarship & Awards Program. Donations can be made online via our secure form (a tax receipt will be issued for all donations over $20).

You can also donate specifically to ‘The Mary Swain Memorial Scholarship“, and to the Michelle Ward Memorial Scholarship.

Also support these awards by attending the annual Silver Wings Awards Banquet in the Fall of each year.

Please give until you feel good that your donation will make it easier for students to fulfill their dreams of a career in aviation. Your support of the BCAC’s education and training initiatives is greatly appreciated.
