About This Committee:
The BCAC membership committee’s mandate is to ensure that the BCAC has a growing and engaged group of members and volunteers and to ensure BCAC membership has recognized and continued value.
The membership committee is responsible for the identification and recruitment of potential new members and volunteers. Increasing member engagement is also a goal and can include reaching out to new members to welcome them and telling them about ways to get involved. We need more volunteers to help spread the word with their contacts and communities.
If coming up with ideas is more your style, we also discuss membership categories and benefits available. We are always on the lookout for new ideas to provide more value for members.
Love data? The membership committee is tasked with maintaining accurate membership information and there are opportunities to assist with managing the database, reporting to the board, and considering if the data we collect is too much or too little.
