The BC Aviation Council hosts the annual Silver Wings Scholarship and Industry Awards Celebration which recognizes outstanding achievements in the aviation and aerospace industry in British Columbia. The BCAC also supports the Annual Conference, as well as ongoing educational events, furthering growth and opportunities for aviation and aerospace across the province. Everyone is welcome!

54th Annual CTRF Conference

The Canadian Transportation Research Forum (CTRF) is holding its 54th Annual CTRF Conference on May 26‐29, 2019, at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver, Canada. The CTRF is a national organization of transportation professionals from across Canada representing carriers, shippers, academia, consultancies and governments.

The theme of this year’s conference is, “Change, Disruption, and Innovation in the Canadian Transportation System: Navigating the New Normal”. The conference includes 86 paper presentations in 23 sessions, a workshop session, three keynote luncheon speakers, three plenaries (panels) and technical tours. Full conference registration includes six meals, three social events, four technical tours, and the conference proceedings. Attendees can also register for any one day or for lunch only. Note that the afternoon sessions on Wednesday (only) are free to all lunch attendees. Additional details and registration for the conference can be found at www.ctrf.ca.
