Captain as Leader: Communication, Conflict, & Coaching – Aviation and Aerospace Series

A Captain needs to demonstrate effective leadership, learn the skills that will set you apart. What is leadership in the cockpit? How can a Captain improve communication and conflict resolution? What is the responsibility of the Captain as coach? How do you create an efficient and synergized team in the cockpit?

This program is designed just for captains, future captains, and is also great for chief pilots, operations managers, leaders, and executives who aim to maximize their impact across their organizations by elevating captains as leaders.

Lunch is included with your investment.

Contact us at connect@raveninstitute.ca if you would like to save the fees and pay directly by credit card – we will generate an invoice through Quickbooks and send it your way.

Your Facilitator:

Teara Fraser holds a Master of Arts in Leadership degree from Royal Roads University, and she is a Certified Executive Coach. The journey of learning now takes her back to Royal Roads as Associate Faculty in the Master of Arts in Leadership program and to Fielding University where she is studying in the Human Development Ph.D. program.

Becoming a pilot was transformational, truly giving this young Métis woman wings – she loves to see others fall in love with flight. She established the Aviation Leadership Foundation, she recently launched Give them Wings (Indigenous Youth Taking Flight), and she serves as Board Director for the British Columbia Aviation Council. She has held the roles of Chief Pilot, Operations Manager, Person Responsible for Maintenance, and Accountable Executive. With the launch of Iskwew Air, Teara’s entrepreneurial spirit takes her into a new arena as the first Indigenous woman to launch an airline in Canada.

As the visionary of the Raven Institute, she sees connected hearts, minds, and hands in a united and thriving nation. We contribute to the development of humans, teams, organizational systems and community. The Raven Institute is excited to host this aviation and aerospace leadership series.
