Since our five year strategic plan was adopted, total Council membership has increased 131% to 340 members. All categories of membership experienced growth, in particular Student members, due to a renewed focus by the Council on connecting students with the aviation and aerospace sector. In particular, Student members swelled this year due to outstanding efforts by past Executive Director Candace McKibbon.
Individual memberships grew 73% over the past five years to 83, while corporate members of all types grew 27% to 82.
It is expected that membership growth will continue its rapid ascent as the BCAC expands its services – reflecting the results of our recently completed member survey.
