BC Airports, especially the Class 3 Airports require their Airport Security Plans (ASP) – Phase 1 completed by December 31, 2013.
Kelowna has led the way in developing the first ASP, working closely with Transport Canada. In addition Dave Fuller, Deputy Director of Kelowna Airport is the Chair of the CAC Security Committee and Neil Drachenberg Kelowna Airport Manager of Safety and Security also sits on this committee.
Kelowna has offered assistance to those airports that feel they may need help in developing their ASP. The offer is at no cost.
