Midnight Sun Challenge 2010 with John Lovelace

Dec 21, 2009

Hello fellow aviator enthusiasts!
Most of you probably heard that in the summer of 2009, John Lovelace coordinated the aviation event “The Cross Canada Century Flight” — 100 airplanes that flew across the country to celebrate the centennial of flight in Canada.  The event was a huge success and laid the foundation for the Canada-wide Century Flight Club- a members-based group of aviators who have taken part or will take part in these unparalleled aviation events.
Well, the club is doing it again! This time, we will be exploring the exceptional landscape of Canada’s Yukon Territory in “the Midnight Sun Challenge 2010”.  100 planes will fly from all over the country and meet in Whitehorse, YT.  Once there, the Century Club team will have coordinated fly-outs, banquet celebrations and other exciting activities.
Many of our participants are members of flight clubs from all over the country, and we’d like to invite your flying club members to take part.  Please find a poster of the event attached to this email for you to print and post on your club’s notice boards, newsletters and/or emailing lists.

Here’s your chance to visit the Yukon with a wonderful group of aviators in an adventure like you’ve never done before!

We look forward to seeing everyone again and to meeting new club members!
