The BC Aviation Council is a charitable non-profit society whose primary aim is to stimulate and encourage the safe, orderly development of aviation and aerospace services in British Columbia, Canada. With over 550 individual and corporate members, the Council represents a broad cross-section of aviation and aerospace interests in the province.

Donate to the BCAC General Scholarship Fund

This substantial endowment fund supports or tops up a wide-range of aviation and aerospace scholarships administered by the Council’s Scholarship Committee. One-half of all online auction, 50:50 and travel raffle net proceeds support this Fund.




Donate to BCAC’s Extensive Annual Programming

Support the Council’s work with Youth (Waypoint Job Fair, Mentorship, Hangar Hangout, Air Cadets Industry Exposure, Give Them Wings…), Speakers’ Bureau, Job Board, Events Calendar, Climate, Communications, Mental Health Leadership, Conference, Silver Wings Industry and Scholarship Awards Celebration, etc. One-half of all online auction, 50:50 and travel raffle net proceeds support this Fund.




Donate to the Mary Swain Memorial Scholarship Fund

Donate to the John and Michelle Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund supports Students pursuing their Commercial Pilots License (CPL). The cost of obtaining a CPL often exceeds $85,000. Less than ten percent of this is covered by the student aid program. It is an important goal of the BCAC to change the BC Student Aid program so that it reflects the true cost of obtaining a CPL (like Alberta does).




Donate to the Lynne Denison Foster BCIT Aviation and Aerospace Scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund supports aviation and aerospace Students conducting their studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.




Donate to the Francois Leh Flight Instructor Training Scholarship Fund

Created in 2021 and promoted by Colette Morin of Glacier Air Flight School, this fund supports the training of the next generation of Flight Instructors at any Transport Canada Certified BC Flight Training School.
