The council of the Town of Osoyoos, the Osoyoos Indian Band and a number of other groups will help fund a study into the feasibility of expanding Osoyoos airport’s runway. In part, the rationale is to improve transportation for workers from southern BC to northeast Alberta oil and gas fields.
