Our next steps are documenting COVID-19s current and future impacts on our industry and providing program feedback.
Governments are aware of the dire situation that the aviation and aerospace industry is in. However, they need hard facts to assist them in developing the support programs we so desperately need. The Council has developed a BC-focused SURVEY to accomplish this for our region. If you have any operations in B.C., small or large, please take ten minutes out of your busy schedule to fill this out. It is a very important next step.
This survey is not just for the BCAC’s 340 members – we are also reaching out to our 2000+ supporters, all licensed operators, the aerospace sector and flight schools. Please pass this survey on to anyone you think we might miss, especially your suppliers!
This survey also solicits comments on programs that have been put in place. It ends with a section to provide advice on what needs to be done, including by your Council. The totalled results will be public. However, information about any specific organization will not be identifiable. Your organization will simply be listed as a participant.

Some other updates:
- Council continues to reach out to all the industry’s national organizations – ATAC, CAC, HAC, RCAC, NATA, COPA, CBAA, AIAC. We are taking an open and transparent approach and hope that a coalition of organizations can be formed;
- There is scheduled air service between Masset and Prince Rupert provided by Inland Charters with a floatplane Beaver aircraft;
- Prince Rupert Airport is losing all commercial air services. They are looking for ways to remain open for emergency and other services;
