Nomination for Lifetime Achievement Award in Aviation
The British Columbia Lifetime Achievement Award in Aviation is presented in recognition of outstanding leadership, promotion and consistent contribution to the continuous development of aviation in the Province of British Columbia and whose accomplishments will stand the test of time.
Basic criteria – The nominee must have spent the majority of his/her life employed in (or in the service of) the aviation industry within British Columbia.
- The nominee will have demonstrated outstanding leadership, commitment, promotion and consistent contribution to the continuous development of aviation in BC, which will stand the test of time
Nominator must attach a narrative explanation and details of the achievements and qualifications of the nominee for the award.
- Any BCAC Member in good standing may submit a nomination.
- The nominee need not be a member of the BC Aviation Council.
- More than one may be awarded each year.
- The BCAC Awards Committee will select the recipient(s) from among those nominated or, postpone the award if no suitable nominations are received.
- The recipient(s) will be presented with their award, in recognition of a Lifetime of Achievement in Aviation, at the BCAC Silver Wings Awards Banquet.
Note: Nomination should be returned to the BCAC office no later than August 31st. *Only persons or organizations that are members of the BC Aviation Council may submit a nomination; the nominee, however, need not be a BCAC member.
