This one-day Export Controls Seminar will be of interest to companies engaged in the cross-border movement of controlled goods and related technical data.
The seminars will be aimed at individuals in the following roles:

These seminars will review the responsibilities of Canadian industry in safeguarding military, strategic, and sensitive commercial goods and technology. Our presentation will cover the following issues:
- International security and trade
- Understanding the Export Control List
- Applying for an export permit using Export Controls Online (EXCOL)
- Understanding the application review process
- Common errors made by exporters
There will be an opportunity to meet with officials for a 15-minute one-on-one meeting after the session (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.). A sign-up sheet will be available at the event.
