Welcome.

Driving Recovery – The Operational, Economic and Social Contributions of British Columbia’s Aviation and Aerospace Industries

Big things are happening in northern British Columbia. The infrastructure that is driving this forward are the aviation and aerospace industries. In fact, our industries are key players energizing the field of movers and shakers. Accordingly, the BC Aviation Council with its partner, the Prince George Airport Authority, is proud to host the June 5-7 Conference 2023: Driving Recovery!

This year’s focus will highlight the critical importance of these industries to the province’s economy and workforce with a particular focus on what we need to do collectively to perpetuate the drive to recovery and prosperity. In the midst of COVID recovery, enterprises struggle to rebuild and sustainability initiatives continue.

Concurrently, the B.C. Government is conducting the most comprehensive study ever on the social and economic impacts of the province’s aviation and aerospace industries on the region.

Join us for robust discussions on the importance of aviation and aerospace, influencing government policy, the need to reduce regulatory and taxation costs, and the labour demand and supply crisis – all chronic conditions requiring bold solutions.
