Last year Hope Air arranged 11,500 flights, and it looks like in 2017 that number will be 12,000.
One of the ways in which Hope Air raises funds is through third-party events, like golf tournaments.
NAV Canada is a major supporter of Hope Air. They have four golf days – in Toronto, Montreal, Gander and Vancouver, and all proceeds go to Hope Air. Last year the Vancouver golf day raised over $40,000. That’s over 130 free flights for low income Canadians who would otherwise struggle to access the healthcare they need.
