Oct 19, 2016

Join us at BCAC’s annual Silver Wings Awards Gala

The B.C. Aviation Council (BCAC) celebrates the 2016 winners of both its industry awards and the aviation related scholarships at its annual Silver Wings Awards gala on October 26, 2016.

BCAC has been honoring its industry colleagues in this fashion since 1961 and in so doing, continues to highlight the many achievements of its members.  Students in aviation studies continue to benefit from the annual scholarships presented, this year totaling $23,500.

Meet our Emcee: John Lovelace

BCAC is thrilled to announce John Lovelace as the Emcee for this year’s Silver Wings Awards Gala. You probably recognize John from the TV series Wings Over Canada which he hosted for 12 years.  Come celebrate with us at the Silver Wings Awards and ask John about his experience as a bush pilot or about all the places he has been.  We are confident he has some great stories to share with you.

Be sure to keep an eye out at the silent auction item table for John’s donation to visit The Flying U Ranch that was established in 1849.
