CCAA is pleased to announce that its Career Focus wage-subsidy program will again be accepting new enrollments as of April 1, 2011.
The Career Focus program provides financial assistance for employers in the aviation and aerospace industry to hire post-secondary graduates. Employers may receive funding of up to one-third of the total wage for the first year of employment of eligible new employees.
It is strongly suggested that hiring managers have the Participant Information Form filled in by each candidate during the interview process. Submit these candidate Participant Information Forms to CCAA prior to making your final hiring decision. We will provide a 48 hour response time to let you know if your candidate is eligible for the wage subsidy.
Note: Only those who have not yet begun their first day of work by 1 April may be submitted to the Career Focus program for review; current or recently hired employees are not eligible for this program.
